Nisha is a project manager with 15 years of environmental experience, including project management and environmental analysis for water resources, transportation projects, energy facilities, and mixed-use developments.
Her work on complex EIRs has provided her with proficiency in the legal nuances of CEQA. Nisha provides insightful strategy for constraints analysis and alternatives development to ensure legally defensible EIRs. Her project management experience makes her adept at facilitating effective communication among diverse consultant teams and stakeholders. With 15 years of environmental management experience, Nisha has developed a network of environmental professionals to team and collaborate with on an as-needed basis. As a result, clients receive high-quality documents. Nisha’s knowledge of environmental law and her leadership role on the Association of Environmental Professionals’ (AEP) legislative review committee since 2010 make her skilled at navigating the complex regulatory environment in California. She has managed several CEQA trainings for AEP. She also served as a co-panelist for the AEP CEQA Refresher Course in Oakland (November 2014). Nisha enjoys teaching and facilitating workshops. Nisha earned a B.A. in Environmental Studies from U.C. Santa Cruz in 2000 and a professional certificate in Land Use and Environmental Planning from U.C. Davis Extension in 2010. She is certified with the American Institute of Certified Planners through the American Planning Association. |
